AnsweR :

1) Rafique said to Ahmed, “Go away.”

=> Rafique ordered Ahmed to go away.

NOTE :- In case, if there is any order given in direct speech, then, in indirect speech, 'said' or 'told' is converted into 'ordered'.

2) He said to her, “Please wait.”

=> He requested her to wait.

NOTE :- In case, if there is any request is made in direct speech, then, in indirect speech, 'said' or 'told' is converted into 'requested'.

3) He said, “Alas! I am undone.”

=> He exclaimed sadly that he was broke.

NOTE :- In this case, in direct speech, sadness is shown by word 'Alas', so, in indirect speech, 'said' or 'told' is converted into 'exclaimed' and 'Alas' is converted into 'sadly'.

4) He said, “Ira arrived on Monday."

=> He said that Ira had arrived on Monday.

NOTE :- In case, if direct speech is in past participle, then, indirect speech is converted into past perfect.

5) He said, "I will be in Kolkata tomorrow."

=> He said that he would be in Kolkata the next day.

NOTE :- In case, if direct speech is in simple future, then, 'will/shall' of direct speech is converted into 'would/should'.
