• The comma and the double quotations are omitted.
• The tense of the sentence inside the quotation does not change if the reported verb is in present tense.
• The tense of the sentence inside the quotation changes accordingly if the reported verb is in past tense.
• Here , the reported verb is in simple past tense, therefore the tense of the sentence inside quotation changes from simple future tense to simple past tense.
• 'Cried' becomes 'exclaimed' since it is an exclamatory sentence.
• 'I' becomes 'he'.
• 'Will' becomes 'would'.
