Convex lens can correct the eye defect known as Hypermetropia or Hyperopia or Long Sightedness, which is generally caused due to shortening of eyeball or if the lens loses its convexity!

It is also used to correct the defect Presbiopia, which is also a case of Long sightedness, usually occurs in adults above 40 years of age

"hypermetropia" & "Presbiopia" are the defects which can be corrected by using convex lens of suitable focal length.

if it seems to be helpful mark me as brainliest.
