Cooking utensils are made of metals but their handles are made of wood or plastic . Why?

coz wood doesn't catch fire.. if we'll use metal as handle, while cooking if v want to move the utensils we'll burn our hands

their body is made of metal to as metals are good conductors and food could be cooked fast.... but you don't wanna hold a hot utensil in your hand now do you? so the handles are made of insulators such as plastic... hence the handle remains cool even when the utensil is hot
