▶▶If it is stored in a metallic/ steel container they generate acids will react...

▶& compounds of metal can cause harm to health. so they should not be stored in metal/steel containers....

Pickles generate some acids and in commercial pickles they add acids as preservative. If it is stored in a metallic container, these acids will react with the metal & can cause harm to health. ... Glass or ceramic containers will not react with the pickling solutions.
