Stop them. You don’t have to get involved too deeply, but you’re an adult and it’s perfectly fine for you to step up to two children who are fighting and tell them that their behavior is unacceptable and they need to calm down and stop [yelling/hitting/kicking/whatever they’re doing that’s inappropriate]. You don’t have to mediate. In fact, disapproval from a stranger is often more effective than disapproval from a parent.
If they start up again, you can always go back and sternly say, ‘What did I tell you? You need to stop. You two can be separated if you cannot get along.’ and then put them both in a timeout or something.
