distance of 7 units can be on right sides of A as well as left side of A .

so there will two such coordinates which are 7 units away from A.

on right side it would be = A

coordinate +7 = 1 + 7 = 8

on left side it would be = A

coordinate -7 = 1 - 7 = -6
