1:1 means that the point divides the line into two equal points and hence that point is the mid point

Let the point be (x,y)

x = (x1+x2)/2

= (3+5)/2 = 8/2 = 4

y = (y1+y2)/2

= (1-1)/2 = 0

Therefore the point is (4,0) option D
