Coordination is like a magnetic force that binds all other functions of the management. It is also considered as a thread that runs through all the activities such as sales, marketing, purchase etc and it also helps in the running the business smoothly that benefits the organization. It is also sometimes considered as a separate function for the management.

For example if company has set of target producing 90 units per hour but only 70 units are producing per hour than coordination is needed to make a better plan so that company can achieve their target.
