Given: AD is the median of BC, means bisects BC such that BD=DC.

           also Angle D is 90 degrees.

To prove: AB = AC

Proof:  In triangles ABD and ADC,

             AD=AD   (common)

             Angle ADB= Angle ADC    (Both are perpendicular ,i.e., 90 degrees)

             BD = DC    (Given)

 therefore, Both triangles are congruent.

Hence,     AB = AC Proved (By CPCT)
