COPLANAR: A set of points, lines, line segments, rays or any other geometrical shapes that lie on the same plane are said to be Coplanar.

NON COPLANAR: Lines that do not lie on the same surface or plane are non-coplanar.

Coplanar lines are lines that lie on the same plane. Picture a giant sheet of paper. Whatever lines are drawn on that sheet of paper will be coplanar because they are lying on the same plane, or the same flat surface.



Lines that do not lie on the same surface or plane are non-coplanar. Look at this image. The red dashed line is non-coplanar with the other two green dashed lines because they lie on different planes, or different surfaces.
