\bold {COPLANAR~POINTS}

Coplanar points are three or more points which lie in the same plane. Recall that a plane is a flat surface which extends without end in all directions. It's usually shown in math textbooks as a 4-sided figure.

\bold {NON~COPLANAR~POINTS}

Collinear points are points all in one line and non collinear points are points that are not on one line. Below points A, F and B are collinear and points G and H are non collinear. Coplanar points are points all in one plane and non coplanar points are points that are not in the same plane.

1 ) From figure ( a ),

Plane :

A plane is a set of points .It is a flat

surface with length and breadth .

A geometrical plane extends

endlessly in all the directions .

Here ' l ' is a plane .

2 ) Coplanar points :

The points that belong to the same

plane are called coplanar points

see figure ( b )

A, B, C , D, E are coplanar points.

3 ) Non - Coplanar points :

The points that doesn't belong to

same plane are called non - coplanar

points .

see figure ( c ).

X , N are non - coplanar points.

I hope this helps you.
