Copper and Silver and both good conductors of electricity.
But silver is not used for making wires. But copper is used for making wires
WHY IS THAT SO?

Silver is not used as wiring simply because of the expense, and gold because copper is much more efficient and cost effective. ... They are conductors but copper is simple less expensive. Also copper is better conductor than gold.

This is because silver melting point is very low.so when the heat will produce the wire will break and no current will flow.Also, silver is so expensive.
