Copper is a great conductor and therefore would not make a good filament in a lightbulb. Why?

Because copper is a very good conductor and allows electricity to pass through with very less resistance.As the RESISTANCE is less,therefore heat energy produced is very low (H=I^2Rt).Hope it will help you

Yes copper is a good conductor of electricity,but can't be used in light bulbas filament because it doesn't  have high point of melting, but can be used as a filament in the light bulb.
