Copper is used in electric wires because electricity passes through it easily. Can it be used to make the filament of bulb?

no it cannot be uesd as filament.because copper cannot withstand the hight heat temperature.because its boiling point is low.As in original bulb tungsten is ued as filament because it has boiling point of 3350 °C
