Hi !
Copper => Cu
Lead => Pb
Silver => Ag
Magnesium = Mg
Zinc = Zn
The order of reactivity series(starting from the most reactive to less reactive metals) is given below,
Mg > Zn > Pb > Cu > Ag
As lead, copper and silver are less reactive metals than Zinc , they are not capable of displacing zinc from its salt solution.
Hence , Magnesium will displace Zinc from its salt
solution.
Mg + ZnSO4 ----> MgSO4 + Zn
Copper => Cu
Lead => Pb
Silver => Ag
Magnesium = Mg
Zinc = Zn
The order of reactivity series(starting from the most reactive to less reactive metals) is given below,
Mg > Zn > Pb > Cu > Ag
As lead, copper and silver are less reactive metals than Zinc , they are not capable of displacing zinc from its salt solution.
Hence , Magnesium will displace Zinc from its salt
solution.
Mg + ZnSO4 ----> MgSO4 + Zn
