Copper sulphate solution reacts with small quantity of ammonium hydroxide solution to
form a precipitate of copper hydroxide according to the following equation:
CuSO4 + 2NH,OH → (NH4)2SO4 + Cu(OH)21
i) What mass of copper hydroxide is precipitated by using 400 grams of ammonium
hydroxide?
ii) What mass of copper sulphate is needed to produce the amount of copper hydroxide
