QUESTION:

4 \sqrt{ \frac{2}{5} }  -  \sqrt{ \frac{9}{10} }  -  \sqrt{ \frac{5}{2} }

ANSWER:

We take the LCM first which is root 10.

 \frac{4 \times  \sqrt{2} \times  \sqrt{2}  -  \sqrt{9}  -  \sqrt{5}  \times  \sqrt{5}  }{ \sqrt{10} }  \\  \\  \\  \\  \frac{4 \sqrt{4}  -  \sqrt{9} -  \sqrt{25}  }{ \sqrt{10} }

now we know that;

 \sqrt{4}  =  \sqrt{2 \times 2}  = 2

 \sqrt{9}  =  \sqrt{3 \times 3}  = 3

 \sqrt{25}  =  \sqrt{ 5 \times 5} = 5

so using this;

 \frac{4 \times 2 - 3 - 5}{ \sqrt{10} }  \\  \\  \frac{8 - 8}{ \sqrt{10} }  \\  \\  \frac{0}{ \sqrt{10} }  \\  \\  \\  = 0
