The chordae tendineae (tendinous chords), known as the heart strings, are cord-like tendons that connect the papillary muscles to the tricuspid valve and the mitral valve in the heart. These are attached to the cusps of the lower chamber of the heart. Hope it helps..!!

Chordae tendinii is tendonous structure also called as heart string...is attached to tricuspid /bicuspid valve which are connected to papillary muscles ..
