What is a coronavirus?

The coronavirus family causes illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), according to the WHO.

कोरोना की वजह से पूरी दुनिया में हाहाकार मचा हुआ है। स्वास्थ्य के साथ साथ इस समय पूरी दुनिया एक बड़े आर्थिक संकट की तरफ भी बढ़ रही है जिसकी वजह से वैश्विक मंदी स्पष्ट रूप से दिख रही है। पिछले एक महीनें में ही दुनिया भर के शेयर बाजार धराशायी हो चुके हैं।

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने चेतावनी दी है कि दुनिया भर में कोरोना की महामारी 2.5 करोड़ लोगों का रोजगार छीन लेगी। यह पहले से जारी वैश्विक आर्थिक संकट में कोढ़ में खाज की तरह साबित होगी। इससे वैश्विक अर्थव्यवस्था को 3.6 लाख करोड़ डॉलर का झटका लगेगा। संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने कहा कि इससे आर्थिक और श्रम संकट गहराएगा।
