SOLUTION :-

Height of roller= 120 CM

Diameter of its base= 84cm

The radius of its base=

 \frac{84}{2}cm  = 42cm

Curved surface area of the roller=

2\pi \: rh

 = (2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 42 \times 120) {cm}^{2}

= 31680 {cm}^{2}

Area covered in one revolution = Curved surface area of roller

∴ Area covered in 500 revolutions

= Curved surface area of roller×500

= (31680 × 500) cm²

= 15840000 cm²

= 15840000 / 10000 m² (∵ 1m² =10000cm²)

= 1584m²

Now, cost of levelling 1m²= 30 paise

∴Cost of levelling 1584m²

= (1584×30) paise

=47520 paise

=₹475.20
