As we know that,
Formula of area of triangle.
⇒ 1/2[x₁(y₂ - y₃) + x₂(y₃ - y₁) + x₃(y₁ - y₂)].
⇒ x₁ = 1 , y₁ = 6.
⇒ x₂ = 3 , y₂ = 1.
⇒ x₃ = 10 , y₃ = y.
Put the value in the equation, we get.
⇒ 1/2[1(1 - y) + 3(y - 6) + 10(6 - 1)] = 10.5
⇒ (1 - y) + 3(y - 6) + 10(5) = 21.
⇒ 1 - y + 3y - 18 + 50 = 21.
⇒ 2y - 18 + 1 + 50 - 21 = 0.
⇒ 2y - 39 + 51 = 0.
⇒ 2y + 12 = 0.
⇒ 2y = -12.
⇒ y = -6.
