let put the y to the other side

2x=2+y

x=2+y/2 let take this equation be equation no 1

substitute the value of equation to the second equation

x+3y=15

2+y/2+3y=15

2+y+6y/2=15

7y+2/2=15

7y+2=15

7y=13

y=13/7

so the value of y is = 13/7

put the value of y in equation no 1

2x-13/7=2

14x-13/7=2

14x-13=14

14x=13+14

14x=27

x=27/14

so by the substituition value of x and y is x=27/14 and y=13/7
