How can we know if we have to use the singular or the plural?

1- There isn't + uncountable + left (if we talk about something that has not been used completely)

2- There aren't + countable + left (if we talk about something that has not been used completely)

You have to know what words you are using, countable or uncountable.

-There is water on the floor: you can't count water, so that word is uncountable.

-There are eggs on the table: you can count eggs, so that word is countable.

Exercise : Choose the right expression in the sentences.
