first the air enters the nostrils ..here it is moistened ,cleaned and warmed.
then the windpipe provides the air a track to the respiratory system.
the trachea further divides into bronchi and finally enters the lungs.
here the air enters the alveoli ....the alveoli is surrounded by many blood vessels ....as the air passes through the blood in the blood vessels absorbs O2 .the CO2 from the blood passes to alveoli and is expelled out
