To check the correctness of the formula, we have to check LHS and RHS is equal or not.

Explanation:

we have, snth=u+a/2(2n-1)

u = initial velocity

where as, a = acceleration and

Snth = distance/time =L/T

therefore LHS -- Snth = (LT to the power-1 )____(i)

RHS ---- u+a/2(2n-1) =(LT to the power-1) + (LT to the power-1) (T) = LT to the power -1 + LT to the power -1 = LT to the power -1 ____(ii)

from equation (i) and equation (ii)

we get,,LT to the power-1 = LT to the power -1

Hence,LHS = RHS....
