Subject: My views regarding teenagers’ attitude to responsibilities
Sir:
Recently read an article in your esteemed daily, dated June 4, 2019, titled ‘Teenagers These Days’. I was deeply offended by the ideas therein. The article was all about teenagers’ indifference to their duties and responsibilities. The writer of the article was bent upon proving that teenagers are selfish.
I feel teenagers are not like that. Teenagers are very dutiful and responsible. They do all the jobs given to them by the elders. For example, at school they do all the work and assignments given to them by their teachers; and at home they run many errands for their parents also.
The writer may have come across some reckless and irresponsible teenager and formed wrong opinion about all teenagers. Kindly give some space to my views in your esteemed daily. I shall be thankful.
