In a way, Singapore has been blessed by having an extremely visionary man with such a clear conscience to lead the country, at the same time, setting a precedent.

When people stop questioning Singapore’s achievement by emphasising the impossibility of it being due to sheer will and faith in the ruling party, it will all make sense.
