cos (1+sin)

(1+sin) + cos

= cos2 + (1+sin)2

cos*(1+sin)

= cos2 + 1 + 2sin + sin2

cos*(1+sin)

we know that cos2 + sin2 = 1

= (1+1+2sin)

cos*(1+sin)

= (2+2sin)

cos*(1+sin)

= 2(1+sin)

cos*(1+sin)

= 2

cos

= 2sec

Step-by-step explanation:

L.H.S.

cos/1-sin

cos(1+sin)/(1-sin)(1+sin)  (Multiplying 1+sin to both numerator and denominator)

cos(1+sin)/1-sin²

cos(1+sin)/cos²

1+sin/cos = R.H.S.(Proved)
