Explanation:

Given , Cos ∅ = 12/13

We know that Cosine is Equal to Base divided by Hypotenuse;

So, We have ;

Hypotenuse = 13

Base = 12

Now, Using Pythagoras theorem;

H² = P² + B²

13² = P² + (12)²

169 - 144 = P²

25 = P²

[ 5 = Perpendicular ]

Now, According to the Question's Statement!

cotΦ+tanΦ

Cos/Sin + Sin/cos

Sin²∅+Cos²∅/Sin∅ . Cos θ

1/Sin θ . Cos θ

1/5/13 × 12/13

1/60/169

1/60.169
