cos^4A- cos^2A = sin^4A -sin^2A

take cos^2Acommon

cos^2A( cos^2A-1) = sin^2A( sin^2A-1)

using id= sin^2A+cos^2A=1

cos^2A(1-sin^2-1) = sin^2A(1-cos^2A-1)

in the bracket cancel out the +1 and -1

cos^2A *-sin^2A= sin^2A*-cos^2A

-sin^2Acos^2A= -sin^2Acos^2A

cancel out lhs and rhs hence your ans is 1
