From RHS,

(√3/2)^2-(1/2)^2

=>3/4-1/4

=>3-1/4

=>2/4

=>1/2=cos 60°

 { \cos60 }^{0}  =   { \cos}^{2}  {30}^{0}  -  { \sin }^{2}  {30}^{0}  \\ R.H.S \\  { \cos}^{2}  {30}^{0} -  { \sin }^{2}   {30}^{0}  \\  = ( { \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2} }^{2} ) - ( { \frac{1}{2} }^{2} ) \\  =  \frac{3}{4}  -  \frac{1}{4}  \\  =  \frac{3 - 1}{4}  \\  =  \frac{2}{4} \\  =  \frac{1}{2} \\  =  \cos {60}^{0}  \\  = (Proved )
