cos∅ + sin∅ = √2 cos∅
=> sin∅ = √2 cos∅ - cos∅ = cos∅(√2-1)
L.H.S
cos∅-sin∅ = cos∅ - √2cos∅ + cos∅
= 2cos∅ - √2cos∅ = √2 cos∅(√2-1)
= √2 sin∅ {as sin∅=cos∅(√2-1)}
