let theta= x
so we have,
cos x= 2/3
sec x= 1/cos x
sec x= 1/(2/3)
sec x= 3/2
now we have to find the value of
4+4tan²x
=4(1+tan²x)
=4(sec²x)...................... as, [ sec²A-tan²A=1]
........................................therefore sec²A= 1+tan²A
=4(sec x)²
=4(3/2)²
=4×9/4
=9
