 {cos}^{2} 30 =  \frac{3}{4 }  \\  {sin}^{2} 30 =  \frac{1}{4}  \\ cos60 =  \frac{1}{2}

Hence, cos²30-sin²30

=\frac{3}{4}-{1}{4} \\= \frac{2}{4} \\= \frac{1}{2} \\ =cos60
