we have to prove
cos² θ(1+ tan² θ) = 1
solution:-
formula used :
(1+ tan² θ) = sec² θ
&
sec θ =1/ cos θ
now;
solving this question
at first Taking LHS
= cos² θ(1+ tan² θ) = cos² θ× sec² θ
= cos² θ × 1/ cos² θ = 1
hence ;
cos² θ(1+ tan² θ) = 1
proved
