Cos@=b/h=1/2 (given)
By pythagoras theorem

h2=P2+B2
(2)2=P2+(1)2
4=P2+1
3=p2
underoot3=p

☆ sin@=p/h=underoot3/2
☆tan@=p/b=underoot3/1
=underoot3
If sin theta + cos theta = 1/2 then find the value of tan theta

\sf{\large Cosθ = \frac{b}{h}  =  \frac{1}{2}} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \sf----{\green{Given}}

By Pythagoras theorem,

\dashrightarrow\sf{\large  {H}^{2} = {P}^{2} + {B}^{2} }

\dashrightarrow\sf{\large (2) 2= {P}^{2} + {1}^{2} }

\dashrightarrow\sf{\large 4=   {P}^{2}  +1}

\dashrightarrow\sf{\large 3 =  {P}^{2}}

\dashrightarrow\sf{\large √3 = P}

☆\sf{\large Sinθ =  \frac{p}{h}  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2} }

☆\sf{\large Tanθ =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{1}  =  \sqrt{3} }
