Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{cos \: b}{1 - sin \: b}

Multiply numerator and denominator by 1 + sin b

 \frac{cos \: b}{1 - sin \: b}  \times  \frac{1 + sin \: b}{1 + sin \: b} \\  \frac{cos \: b(1 + sin \: b)}{1 -  {sin}^{2}b }

Now denominator is equal to

 {cos}^{2} b

By trigonometric identity.

 \frac{1 + sin \: b}{cos \: b}
