  •  \cosec  (a)  = 2

\color{red}\huge{\underline{\underline{TO\:FIND\dag}}}

  •  \cot ^{2} (a)

\color{red}\huge{\underline{\underline{SOLUTION\dag}}}

\cosec  (a)  = 2

Squaring on both sides:

\cosec^{2}  (a)  = 2^{2}

\cosec ^{2} (a)  = 4

But We know that;

{\boxed{ \color{blue} \cosec ^{2} ( \theta)  -  \cot ^{2} ( \theta)  = 1}}

 \implies 4 -  \cot ^{2} (a)  = 1

 \implies \cot ^{2} (a)  = 4 - 1

 \color{orange}{ \boxed {\therefore   \cot ^{2} (a) = 3}}

HOPE THAT HELPS!!
