( cosecA - cotA )²


= ( 1/ sinA - cosA/sinA )²


= ( 1 - cosA/ sinA )²


= ( 1 + cosA )²/ sin²A


= ( 1 - cosA )²/ 1 - cos²A


= ( 1 - cosA ) ( 1 - cosA )/ ( 1 + cosA ) ( 1 - cosA )


= 1 - cosA / 1 + cosA
