hey !!!!

cosQ + sinQ =1 -------1)

cosQ + sinQ ------2)

if we adding both ...and squaring them

we got ,

(cosQ+ sinQ)²+(cosQ-sinQ)²

cos²Q+sin²Q+2sinQ×cosQ+cos²Q+sin²Q-2sinQ×cosQ

= 2 ..............3)

now again. .if we adding 1 and 2 and squaring them

we got ..

(sinQ+cosQ)²+(cosQ-sinQ)² =2 {from 3) }

1²+(sinQ-cosQ)² =2 {•°•cosQ+sinQ=1}

(cosQ-sinQ)² = 2-1

(cosQ- sinQ) =√1 =+-1
