Cost of 1 kg of potato is ₹60 .1 kg of onion cost 10% less than 1 kg potato .If I pay ₹180 for potatoes,then what will be the cost of onion if its weight is same as that of the potatoes . (Explain step by step)

Answer:

1 kg of potato = ₹60

1 kg of onions =10/100×60

=₹54

Cost of potatoes =₹180

Kg = 180/60

Kg =3 kg

3kg onions = 3×54

=₹ 162
