Let the cost of 1 kg of apples be Rs. x and of 1 kg of grapes be Rs. y. So, algebraic representation
2x + y = 160
4x + 2y = 300
⇒ 2x + y = 150
Graphical representation, we have
2x + y = 160
⇒ y = 160 - 2x
(attachment no.1 here)
We have,
2x + y = 150
⇒ y = 150 - 2x
(Attachment no. 2 here)
When we plot the graph of the equation we find that two lines do not intersect i.e. they are parallel.
Hope it helps

Step-by-step explanation:
1kg apples = x rupees
1 kg grapes =y rupees
1 kg grapes and 2kg apples =300rupees
2x + y=160 (equation 1)
after 1 month ,4 kg apples and 2 kg grapes=300 rupees
4x + 2y = 300 (equation 2)
