Cost Of 3 Oranges and 4 bananas Rs.24 . If the cost of 1 orange is Rs.1 more then the cost of 1 banana ,then what's the cost of Orange?

Let the price of oranges be 'x' and bananas be 'y'.

3x+4y=24. ...(1)

x=y+1

x-y=1. ...(2)

3x+y=24/4=6

x+y=6/3

x+y=2. ...(3)

Subtracting eq.(2) from(3)

x-y=1

x+y=2

x=-1. (y will be eliminated)
