Cost of 3 tennis balls is Rs 150 and 4 bats is Rs 500. If Rohan want to purchase 5 tennis balls and 9 bats, how much should he pay?

Hiii friend,

Cost of 3 tennis balls = 150

Therefore,

Cost of 1 tennis ball = 150/3 => Rs 50

And,

Cost of 4 bats = 500

Therefore,

Cost of 1 bat = 500/4 = 125.

Rohan purchased 5 tennis balls and 9 bats .

Therefore,

Cost of 5 Tennis bals = 5 ×50 = 225

And,

Cost of 9 bats = 9 × 125 = 1125.

Cost of 5 Tennis balls and 9 bats = 225+1125 => Rs 1350

one tennis ball = ₹150/3 = ₹50

4 bats = ₹500
one bat = ₹500/4 = ₹125

5 tennis + 9 bats
5×₹50 + 9×125
