Cost of a dozen bananas is Rs 180 and cost of 8 lemons is Rs 56. Find the ratio of the cost of a banana to the cost of a lemon.

Cost of a dozen bananas = Rs 180

cost of 12 bananas = 180

cost of 1 banana = 180/12 = 15

Cost of 8 lemons= Rs 56

cost of 1 lemon = 56/8 = 7

cost of 1 banana = 15

cost of 1 lemon 7

cost of a banana : cost of a lemon = 15 : 7
