Thus the cost of 1kg of betel nut $=\frac{1250}{5} \\=Rs.250$

Therefore half quintal of betel nuts$=50kg$

The cost of half quintal of betel nuts,

$=250\times 50\\=Rs.12500$

Hence the cost of half quintal betel nuts is Rs.12500
