1. required cost= 45/12= 3.75 rs

2. if 1 orange is 3.75 rs

then, no of orange in 60rs = 60/ 3.75 = 6000/375= 16 orange ....

3. cost of 5 pizzas = 725 rs

then, cost of 1 pizzas= 725/5= 145 rs

now, cost of 6 pastries= 210 rs

therefore, cost of 1 pastry= 210/6= 35 rs

according to question,

cost of 3 pizzas= 3× 145 = 435rs and cost of 12 pastries= 12× 35= 420rs

now, we should pay 855 rs to buy these......

Answer:

The cost of one score oranges is ₹ 75 and 16 oranges can be purchased by ₹ 60 and you should pay ₹ 855.

Step-by-step explanation:

1 dozen = 12

And, 1 score = 20

Cost of 12 oranges = ₹ 45

Cost of 1 orange = ₹ 45/12

Cost of 20 oranges = ₹ 45/12×20

= ₹ 45/3×5

= ₹ 15×5 = ₹ 75(answer).

In ₹ 45 no of oranges purchased = 12

In ₹ 1 no of oranges purchased = 12/45

In ₹ 60 no of oranges purchased = 12/45×60

= 12/3×4

= 48/3 = 16(ans).

Cost of 5 pizzas = ₹ 725

Cost of 1 pizza = ₹ 145

Cost of 3 pizzas = ₹ 145 × 3 = ₹ 435

Cost of 6 pastries = ₹ 210

Cost of 1 pastry = ₹ 210/6

Cost of 12 pastries = ₹ 210/6×12

= ₹ 210×2 = ₹ 420

Therefore, you should pay ₹ 435+420 = ₹ 855.
