Cost of 3 \frac{2}{5}  meter of cloth is Rs. 88 \frac{1}{2}  . What is the cost of 1 meter cloth?

Answer => 26 \frac{1}{34}

Given,

Cost of 3 2/5 m cloth = Rs. 88 1/2

3 2/5 = 17 / 5

88 1/2 = 177 / 2

Calculation,

Cost of 1 m cloth = (177/2) / (17/5)

= 177 * 5 / 2 * 17

= 885 / 34

= Rs. 26 1/34 Ans.

Ans.) The cost of 1 meter cloth is Rs. 26 1/34.

88 1/2 = Rs 88.5

Cost of 3.4 m of cloth = Rs. 88.5


Cost of 1 m cloth = 88.5 / 3.4
= Rs 26.0294118
= Rs 26 1/34
