He changed the cost price 3000 to 4000 and after allowing some discount still he has 20% profit That means selling price is 3600 and 10% discount is given to the customer

mark up % = 1000/3000× 100=33.33%
than,
cp = 5 unit= 3000
1 unit= 3000/5= 600
6 unit = 6× 600= 3600(Sp)
% discount=400/4000×100= 10% will be the answer
